Northside Catholic Youth Ministry is taking precautions such as maintaining social distancing whenever possible, encouraging hand-washing and other hygienic practices, and frequently cleaning surfaces. That said, there remains a risk to participating in in-person activities. Participants knowingly and voluntarily assume this risk associated with participation.

We ask that families and youth self-screen before attending any in-person activities. See below for self-screening questions.

For those who are not comfortable participating in-person at this time, we respect that decision. We currently offer virtual (Zoom) meetings every Tuesday night at 6:30pm. Last spring, we hosted virtual bible studies and we encourage those interested to reach out to us to form a group.

In order to provide a safe environment for all, please answer the following questions before attending any in-person youth ministry gatherings.

1. Does your student have any of the following symptoms not related to a known cause?

✔ A cough

✔ Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

✔ A fever of 100.4°F or higher or a sense of having a fever

✔ A sore throat

✔ Chills

✔ New loss of taste or smell

✔ Muscle or body aches

✔ Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea

✔ Congestion/running nose – not related to seasonal allergies

✔ Unusual fatigue

2. Does anyone in your household have any of the above symptoms not related to a known cause?

3. Has your youth been in close contact with anyone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19?

4. Has your youth had any medication to reduce a fever before coming to school?

If the answer to these questions above is “yes”, we ask that you the youth does not attend any in-person ministry activities.
